Listening for routing evidence

Nodes appear as they are learned. A packet with no known route won't create an invented connection.

Reading the evidence

Flood RX paths record earlier forwarders. The last entry can support a final-hop arrow to that observer. Prefixes and routing claims are not cryptographically authenticated.

Direct and TRACE target paths are instructions. Dashed planned arrows do not mean a receiver heard the transmission. Unknown transmitters remain explicit bubbles.

RSSI and SNR belong only to the observer's final reception. They are never spread across a route. Candidate identity lines have no direction or traffic count.

Repeated reports of the same packet count once in traffic totals, while each reception is kept. Identical retransmissions cannot be distinguished by their bytes. Old edges leave the selected window but remain in SQLite.

Node message counts describe messages on associated routes, not messages authored by that node. A displayed channel sender name never establishes its node identity.
